Overview
Element Dance Company fuses Contemporary and Urban with Latin Dance. Formed in 2005 by Ella Mesma, the Company members perform and teach. Element Dance has travelled extensively performing at major venues including Birmingham NEC, Trafalgar Square (Peace Week), NME Awards, T4, Brit Awards and Saddlers Wells.The dancers have featured in music videos for TY and Franz Ferdinand and worked with artists Major Lazer, MC Magico, Sub Motion Orchestra, Drummagik and Snowboy. Clients have included Redbull, Sagatiba, Havanna Club, Pampero, HBOS, The Holiday and Travel Show and many more. Commissions overseas have taken Element Dance to America (Boston, NYC), Brazil (Salvador), India (Chennai, Mombai, New Delhi), Bahrain, Cuba (Havana), Turkey (Touring Company), Denmark, Spain, Serbia, Germany, and Finland. The Company currently runs dance classes in Leeds and London. The performing Dance Company is comprised by 10 stunning and talented dancers. Element Dance performances fuses Latin Urban and Contemporary to create fiery explosive material and concluding in innovating new movement material with fluidity and individuality.
