what got you started
I started going to Ailsa’s classes because I wanted to tone and lose weight doing something I would enjoy and at the same time would challenge me, that didn’t feel like I was exercising or having to go to the gym
why is pole so good
It has given me loads of confidence to try things that maybe I wouldn’t have had a go at previously. My core muscles are stronger than ever before which has helped in improving my bad back, and it keeps me fit! Best of all I love the fact that it brings out my inner diva!

Whilst inverting on the pole in the middle of a busy club, I somehow managed to dislodge my chicken fillets. I only noticed when I looked down a while later and realised they were in a rather compromising position!!

Ailsa
what got you started
I was at a fitness convention and had a go and was hooked! I booked on an instructor training course, came away covered in bruises but had enjoyed myself so much. I didn’t realise how hard I’d worked until the next day when I could hardly move! As a Personal Trainer and Life Coach I am always looking for ways to get people moving and feel fantastic too. Pole incorporates everything in one session!
why is pole so good
I like the fact that it doesn't matter what shape, size, weight or age you are, or even how uncoordinated you think you are, everyone has the opportunity to achieve success. Not only that but it’s great fun too and a great way to get fit - you don't actually realise you are exercising! It’s a fantastic alternative to working out in the gym, as it burns loads of calories and strengthens your tummy muscles and improves flexibility. Pole lets you get together with likeminded people, have a laugh, boosts confidence and self esteem and gets you fit, all at the same time!

Getting stuck upside down in the middle of a class whilst teaching, and no-one realised, until I had to ask for help to get down!
