Danielle Dee Stephens‘ started dancing at the age of four where she trained in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz at The Grand Theatre, Swansea.
There she performed in numerous pantomines and shows. She went on to join West Glamorgan Dance Company where she acquired a love for Contemporary Dance. After completing all her dance exams with Honours at the Grand went on to Gorseinon College to gain her BTEC in Performing Arts, then on to ‘London Contemporary Dance School’ where she gained her BA degree. Living in London for five years, she made appearances on stage and TV for various Dance Companies whilst being a member of cheerleaders ‘Wildcats’ for ‘London Towers’ Basketball Team. Further afield, she travelled to Hong Kong for six months where she choreographed and performed at a top hotel.
Going from one major city to another, felt it time to come home. Danielle has taught/choreographed for many schools, colleges and companies since being back in Swansea, but having a daughter eight years ago, she made a decision to focus on her own company and is thoroughly enjoying it’s challenge and rewards. And 15 years down the line and 320 children on the books has proven she can run a successful school.
