Catherine Cooper is a Licentiate member of The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She began dancing at the age of 3, developing her technical understanding and style through the medallist examination system at her local dance school. Catherine sucessfully competed at various levels before embarking on her teaching career.
As a professionally qualified dance teacher living in Maidstone, she now offers both private and group taught lessons. Catherine has proven experience as a choreographer, having undertaken the role in a number of local theatre productions to critical acclaim.
Assistant Teacher: Diane Penna L.U.K.A.
Like Catherine, Diane started dancing at the age of 3, coincidentally at the same local Ballet class. After learning other styles, she decided to specialise in Ballroom and Latin American dancing. Diane has competed at all levels and won a variety of titles including; English Amateur Ballroom Champion and All England Professional Ballroom Dance Champion (twice).
Diane is a Licentiate member of the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing and started her career teaching at a dance school in South East London before travelling the world teaching and demonstrating dance on Cruise Ships.
