Miriam and Dante have become known for their passion for transmitting the true essence of Argentine tango in their classes and their dynamic and expressive performances. Over the last few years they have taught and performed together across South & North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. They are currently based in the UK, with thriving tango academies and milongas in Oxford and York. Dante started Argentine Tango in Jujuy, a province in the north of Argentina, where he also studied ballet, while Miriam started dancing in Canada as a classical ballet dancer and fell in love with Argentine Tango on her first visit to South America. They consolidated as a tango couple and were invited to teach and perform in numerous international festivals including the Mallorca Tango Festival, Nottingham Tango Festival, Porto Tango Festival, Ulverston International Music Festival and Tangofestival in Baden Baden. They have also starred in shows with important orchestras such as Tango Siempre, Aurora Orchestra and Daniel Melingo.
