Chateau Lou Casteou's Let's Salsa Retreat combines all the rhythm and sparkle of Strictly Come Dancing with good exercise, great company and delicious food.
Hidden in the Cote d'Azur's idyllic Esterel Mountains, the elegantly furnished chateau is a luxurious haven, perfect for a few days away and a chance to take to the dance floor. The Let's Salsa programme is designed to cater for both new dancers and those with more experience hoping to improve their skills.
During the four-day retreat, the classes cover dance disciplines from all over the world, offering guests the chance to try their hands (and feet) at Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Cuban Rueda, Kizomba, Merengue and Hip Hop. Dance classes are also interspersed with a variety of fitness activities, including circuits in the historic cloisters, Latino aerobics by the pool, a tennis workshop and mountain treks along the stunning nearby coast.
The classes are led by a team of award-winning professional dancers and experienced fitness instructors, keen to pass on their passion for dance. All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served around the pool or in the historic cloisters. After energetic workouts and dancing, these are a welcome chance to relax, socialise and enjoy the stunning chateau.
The talented chef, Jimmy Karl, who also specialises in delicious coconut milk mojitos, provides sumptuous meals that are made from locally sourced ingredients, and both healthy and delicious. After being wined and dined in luxury guests can even try out their new dance moves at a local Salsa club.
